Privacy Policy
This site (tommyjay.au) is run by Tommy Jay Music. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, why, and what your options are.
What we collect
If you just browse and listen: nothing beyond standard technical logs (see "Technical logs" below). No account is needed to browse the catalogue or view song pages.
If you sign in (required to like a song or post a comment), you can use Google Sign-In, Microsoft sign-in, or a one-time sign-in link we email to you. When you sign in, we receive your email address (and, with Google or Microsoft, your name) from that account or from the address you give us, and we store a unique account ID for you. Those providers handle your sign-in under their own privacy policies; we never see your password. We use this to show your comments and likes back to you, and to enforce our Community Guidelines, including, where necessary, restricting or banning an account.
Comments and likes: the text of any comment you post, which song you liked, and the time you did so.
Technical logs: our hosting provider (Google Firebase / Google Cloud) automatically logs standard technical information, such as IP address and browser type, for security and abuse-prevention purposes, the same as most websites.
We do not collect payment or financial information on this site. It doesn't sell anything or process payments. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
